How a paid link is labeled

A link that can earn a commission is marked Paid link or Sponsored near the link. The disclosure appears where the retailer choices appear, not only on this page.

Ordinary retailer searches and general web-search links are not labeled as paid when they do not contain affiliate tracking.

What the commission changes

It changes how Knisley Digital may be paid. It does not change the measurement result, the order of close GaugeFox candidates, or the search wording for a part. Every plausible candidate keeps its own retailer choices so a commission cannot turn a close measurement into a more certain answer.

Retailers set their own price, stock, shipping, warranty, return, and product-fit terms. Check the listing against the measured size and the part's actual use before ordering.

Privacy when a link opens

Selecting a retailer opens that retailer's site or app. The destination receives the item search text and normal request information under its own privacy policy. An approved affiliate link can also include the partner tracking values required to credit a purchase.

GaugeFox does not add saved calibration, raw measurements, Parts Bin notes, or a persistent GaugeFox user identifier to those links. Read the GaugeFox privacy policy for the current app behavior.
